Mommy's New Trainers

 i took the plunge:  i bought new nikes with the new fangled gps system: NIKE+.  i feel like a kid who just got the sneakers that light up....of which i will not let my kids buy, sorry girls!  lets just say, i have a new kick in stride! i love it.
Look way down in the bottom of my shoe, there it is.  it registers every step and breath on my ipod. todays power song was: World In My Arms by Pamela Wyn Shannon.  maybe some Fergelicous tomorrow
 

Remembering to Celebrate Small Goals

my goal to do list:
1. make a cake
2. play a board game with my daughter
3. run a mile or two (well, not so small) this deserves a post (later)
4. remember to breathe
5. get my kids to school on time (time is running out, almost summer)
6. finish my book.
7. write a blog post
8. journal (as a verb)
9. play (well anything)
10. drink my water
11. call a friend
12. send a card
13. craft
14. iron the wrinkled clothes
15. fold the unwrinkled clothes
16. stretch
17. celebrate the spirit in me.
18. dance
19. become decisive.
20. walks on the beach!

Hyacinths For The Soul

these beauties are my breath of fresh air. they are one of coco's home science projects. she goes to an amazing preschool right up the road for half day, then after school we do a lesson each day. i'm one of those stay at home teachers who have a basement filled with dusty but amazing lessons and activities. Coco and i used to go tho the same Montessori school. i taught the elementary kids and she was a student in the primary class.....until May came along...coco went off to a waldorf school and i stayed home with May. Now life at home is filled with Montessori and Waldorf activities (because i'm crazy and i want her to experience all types of learning).

it's one of those cold mornings, i'm sick, may is sick, and coco is well and full of energy.
coco is going to school and onto a playdate afterwards. i will have a day filled with peppermint tea, healthy snacks, tissues, and lots of snuggles with baby may. i'm working on getting used to blogging. it is a true WIP.
